À Punt has announced four consecutive live, free-to-air bullfighting broadcasts, from Friday 9 to Monday 12 October 2026. Coverage will begin at the Valencia bullring, on the occasion of 9 d’Octubre, and continue for three days from Las Ventas in Madrid. The events are scheduled for dates in the future relative to the announcement.
9 d’Octubre opens the series in Valencia
The first bullfight is scheduled for Friday 9 October at 17:30. Morante de la Puebla, Roca Rey and Tomás Rufo will face bulls from the Álvaro Núñez ranch. According to the information released, the event coincides with the tenth anniversary of Roca Rey’s debut at the Valencia bullring.
Three consecutive days from Las Ventas
On Saturday 10 October, at 18:00, novillero Álvaro Serrano will appear as the sole performer, facing six young bulls from different ranches: Fuente Ymbro, Montealto, Conde de Mayalde, Torrehandilla, Domingo Hernández and Julio de la Puerta.
The event on Sunday 11 October is also scheduled for 18:00. Valencian bullfighter Román and Antonio Ferrera will face each other mano a mano, against bulls from Adolfo Martín.
The series will conclude on Monday 12 October, also at 18:00, with Morante de la Puebla, Héctor Gutiérrez —winner of the Copa Chenel— and Aarón Palacio, who will confirm his alternativa. Bulls from Garcigrande and Núñez del Cuvillo are announced for the event.
A special four-day schedule
With this schedule, À Punt plans to link four broadcasts at two bullrings: Valencia on the day of the Valencian Community and Las Ventas over the weekend and the public holiday Monday. Journalist Jorge Casals will lead the bullfighting broadcasts, according to the information published about the announcement.
