Two new offices in Baix Empordà
Finques Company, part of the Housfy Group, has acquired Salvadó & Gubert, a real estate agency with more than 40 years of experience on the Costa Brava. The transaction brings the firm’s offices and teams in Palamós and Platja d’Aro into the buyer’s structure and expands its presence in the province of Girona.
Before the acquisition, Finques Company operated five offices, in Girona, Roses, Llançà, Figueres and Empuriabrava. With the two new branches, it extends its network into Baix Empordà and adds capabilities in two markets the company considers strategic. Salvadó & Gubert provides property sales and rental, community management and insurance services.
Published figures differ
The information released about the size of the acquired portfolio does not match exactly. Brainsre and VIA Empresa put the number of homeowners’ associations and rentals managed by Salvadó & Gubert at 102. El Nacional refers to around a hundred clients and says that, following the transaction, Finques Company will manage more than 750 communities and more than 1,800 rental homes. Brainsre puts the team at 67 professionals, while VIA Empresa describes the workforce as larger than that figure.
The sources do not provide a reconciliation of these figures, so they should be understood according to each outlet’s attribution. The transaction amount has not been disclosed.
Growth through local knowledge
Tània Company, managing director of Finques Company, explained that the acquisition adds a team with in-depth knowledge of Palamós and Platja d’Aro. She said the intention is to preserve that experience and provide it with more resources, while maintaining a close, long-term relationship with clients.
The acquisition is part of a strategy of growth through the acquisition and integration of local companies and portfolios. The company plans to retain each market’s teams and knowledge while expanding the resources and services available within the group.
The transaction comes months after Finques Company’s integration into Housfy, formalised in January 2026, and the generational handover in management, taken over by Tània Company. The expansion on the Costa Brava shows how the firm combines its territorial presence with the backing of a larger group; sources describe this approach as part of its strategy, but do not specify further growth targets or timelines.
