Bankinter has announced a 1% bonus for customers who transfer investment funds from other institutions to products managed by Bankinter Gestión de Activos (BKGA). The campaign applies to transfers requested between October 1 and November 30, 2026.

To participate, the amount transferred must be at least €5,000. The bonus is capped at €30,000 per customer, and the investment must be held for two years from the end of the campaign, according to the terms published by the bank.

The institution says it will not charge a fee for making the transfer, although it warns that the originating institution may apply charges. The offer concerns moving holdings in funds from other institutions into BKGA funds; it should not be confused with a change of distributor, which involves keeping the same fund and changing the institution through which it is purchased. Bankinter states that this latter procedure depends on whether it distributes the fund and must be handled at a branch.

The promotion does not eliminate investment risk: funds may lose value, and there is a possibility of losing some of the capital. The bonus is a conditional incentive, not a guaranteed return or protection against losses in the fund. Therefore, the promotional terms alone are not enough to assess whether a particular product is suitable.

Bankinter states that the maximum legal period for a fund transfer is eight business days. This period does not necessarily apply to a change of distributor, for which, according to the institution, no legal deadline has been established. The campaign is aimed at investment funds and should not be interpreted as an offer that automatically applies to other products.
